FULLY CHARGE YOUR BATTERIES BEFORE FIRST USE.  For safety reasons rechargeable batteries are shipped in a discharged state.  It may take several charging and
discharge cycles before the full capacity of the batteries is achieved.  Because all rechargeable batteries gradually lose their power over time, if stored for more than a few days, a
top-off charge before use is recommended.

Model R-1 is powered by four (4) ½ D size NiCad batteries and you were supplied with eight (8).  The batteries may be charged by simply installing them in the charger.  They will
generally take about ____ hours to charge.  Carefully review the battery charger instructions prior to use.

The CamLite is designed to be left in the charger continuously when not in use.  This will ensure that the CamLite is always fully charged.  There is no danger of overcharge.  The
LED is lit when current is flowing.  It does not indicate that charging is occurring when none is needed.  A full charge will take approximately _____ hours for the R-1.  The CamLite
will operate with the camera only for approximately ____ hours and with the light only for approximately ____ hours for the R-1 model.

WARNING: Be sure to use only genuine CamLite replacement parts.  Use of another manufacturer’s replacement parts could affect performance and void the CamLite’s warranty.

NOTE: The rechargeable battery contained in this product is recyclable.  At the end of its useful life, it may be illegal to dispose of the battery in the municipal solid waste stream.
Check with your local solid waste officials for details in your area for recycling options or proper disposal.
