The contact patch should be on your left

side. The hook

side.

Wrap the strap around your chest, and

connect the strap hook to the loop.
NOTE: Make sure the care tag does not

fold over.

Bring the device within range (3 m) of the

heart rate monitor.

After you put on the heart rate monitor, it is on

standby and ready to send data.

Pairing is the connecting of ANT+™ wireless

sensors, like your heart rate monitor, with a 

Garmin compatible device.
NOTE: The pairing instructions differ for each

Garmin compatible device. See your owner's

manual.
