Telephone settings

This feature lets you save your voicemail number for easy access when you 
press and hold the 1

 key. 

1. Press MENU/

 in idle mode to enter the main menu.

2. Use 

 or 

 to scroll to Settings, then press 

/SELECT. 

3. Use 

 or 

 to scroll to Voicemail #, then press 

/SELECT. 

4. Use the dialing keys to enter the voicemail access 

number provided by your telephone service provider.

Press 

 or 

 to move the cursor to the left  

or right.

Press X/DELETE

to erase a digit.

Press and hold X/DELETE

to erase all digits.

Press 

/PAUSE to enter a three-second dialing pause (a p appears).

Press 

/SELECT to save. There is a confirmation tone. The screen 

displays Voicemail # saved and then returns to the previous menu.

If you subscribe to a voicemail service offered by your 
telephone service provider, this feature provides a visual 
indication when you have new voicemail messages. 

New voicemail and the 

 icon appear on the telephone 

base screen.

This feature does not indicate new messages recorded on your phone’s built-in answering system.
