High/Low Options Settings Screen
Advance on High/Low – when checked and a high or low reading as just been entered, the READCENTER Field Ap-
plication software will automatically display the next meter to be read.
Beep on High/Low – when checked and a high reading has just been entered, the READCENTER software will sound 
3 beeps to signify the high reading.  Two beeps will denote a low reading.
Show High/Low Values – when checked, the high and low limit values will be displayed on the High/Low limits 
screen and when a high or low reading is entered.
Hi/Low Readings Fail – when checked, a reading is considered high if the reading matches the high or low limit.  
When unchecked, the reading must be higher than the high limit or lower than the low limit.
Hi/Low Entry Disposition—the field, when tapped, toggles between “Accept/Reject,” “Reentry Required,” and “Reentry 
w/Cancel.”  
 - Accept/Reject : When a low or high manual read is entered, the meter reader will be asked whether or not the 
entered reading is correct.
 - Reentry Required : When a low or high manual read is entered, the meter reader will be prompted to enter the 
reading a second time to verify that the reading is low or high.
 - Reentry w/Cancel : Same as “Reentry Required,” but there is a cancel button that cancels the initial read entry.
Displayable Field Settings Screen
This screen shows you the fields from the Badger Meter Reading Data Management Software that are shown on the read 
screen.  The sixth line on the main Reading screen displays customizable information.  To change what is displayed on the 
sixth line, press the “F” key or tap the “Custom Field” button on the screen to cycle through all possibilities.
The Customization screens allow you to control the behavior of various functions within the READCENTER® software.  In these 
cases, when you click on a button, the value displayed changes, toggling between predefined values.
