(3)  Usage 
1. 
Start Windows. 
2. 
Click [Start] 
 [Settings]  [Control Panel]. 
3. 
Double-click [Add or Remove Program]. 
4. 
Click [CD or Floppy] on the [Add new Programs] tab. 
5. 
If message 
“Install Program From Floppy Disk or CD-ROM, and then click 
Next.
” appears, click [Next]. 
6. 
Click [Browse
…], specify “C:¥WINXP¥Fingerprint Sensor¥autorun.exe” and 
click [OK]. 
7. 
The menu dialog box appears. Click [Documentation]. 
 
 
Open 
“Manual.pdf” to check usages including the fingerprint registration procedure. 
 
(4)  Deletion procedure 
1. 
Start Windows. 
2. 
Click [Start] 
 [Settings]  [Control Panel]. 
3. 
Double-click [Add or Remove Program]. 
4. 
Click [Protector Suite QL] and [Change]. 
5. 
Follow the directions on the dialog box to uninstall the fingerprint 
authentication utility. 
6. 
After the uninstallation is completed, reboot N22A. 
 
 
Now the fingerprint authentication utility is removed completely. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Data saved in the biometric device (chip for fingerprint sensor) is not erased even if the built-in 
HDD is erased.
