Glossary
•  UAV: Intel® Falcon™ 8+ Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
(UAV) – includes the aircraft itself and all parts in,
on, or attached to the aircraft when flown
(e.g. batteries, payload).
•  CTR: Intel® Cockpit Controller – ground control station.
•  BMS: Intel® Powerpack Battery Management
System – smart battery.
•  UAS: Intel® Falcon™ 8+ System or Intel® Falcon™ 8+
Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) – Product
including UAV, CTR, and all dedicated accessories.
Intended Use
Only use with Intel Falcon 8+ UAV. For use refer to 
Intel Falcon 8+ UAV terms and conditions.
Intel® Drone Link Safety
Comply with All Laws and Regulations.
For safety refer to Intel Falcon 8+ UAV terms and
conditions. These apply also for combined equipment.
DANGER: Do not modify the Product. Any modifications
may compromise safety features, increasing risk of
injury, death, or property damage. There are no user
serviceable parts inside this device. Refer all service
to qualified Intel service personnel.
WARNING: Check airworthiness before each flight,
paying special attention to proper fixing of any
accessory device. Also refer to Intel Falcon 8+ UAV
terms and conditions.
Violation of these safety precautions results in the 
loss of the limited warranty included in the Terms 
and Conditions of Sale for this Product!
WARNING: Do not install or remove any camera
payload while the UAV is powered ON. Turn OFF the
UAV before installing or removing a payload. The
payload might get damaged when it is connected with
an active power supply from the UAV to the payload.

Operating Limitations
Always operate within the hosting UAS operating limitations.
Privacy and Property Rights
As the Operator of a UAS, you must comply with all
applicable laws, especially privacy, property, and
copyright laws. This includes the below common types
of rules that may apply in the jurisdiction in which you
operate. Always consult the laws of your jurisdiction before
operating the UAS, as jurisdictions have different laws.
•  Monitoring and filming public areas where
individuals are staying may be only permitted
under limited circumstances, e.g. for safety
reasons, and provided sufficient notice is provided.
•  Filming individuals and using their pictures (such
as sharing them) may infringe an individual’s rights
in his/her own image.
•  Under copyright laws, some pictures may only
be used for private purposes. In addition, taking
pictures of buildings may breach copyrights.
•  Take-offs and landings of the UAV may only be
allowed with consent of the owner of the property
on which the take-offs and landings occur.
•  Make sure not to exceed reasonable noise level limits.
•  Understand and comply with state and local
privacy laws where you operate.
•  Be respectful of the privacy of individuals and
their property when you fly.
•  Be transparent with others about your flying and
your purpose.
•  Collect only images or sensor data that is necessary
to achieve your purpose and in compliance with law.
