to provide sustainable performance by using their own on-board flash storage, managed by LSI

Response Time Improvement
In the LSI lab we compared two identical databases, each 140GB, each running on its
own server with an identical set of HDDs. Both databases were driven by identical online
transaction processing (OLTP) workloads of 250 users. The Nytro MegaRAID card’s caching on
flash storage yielded a 47x faster response.
