The models IGEL-5100 X-Term, IGEL-5200 LX

Maximum flexibility – Linux clients
The Premium series of IGEL combines the
multifaceted options of the Embedded Flash Linux
operating system and flexible hardware into a
functional unit. In addition to an analog monitor
connection, a DVI interface is available which
directly connects digitally controlled TFT monitors or
flat screens and enables dual screen. The IGEL
client has an open PCI slot and a PCMCIA slot
and allows for a variety of hardware components
that can be integrated quickly and easily. The IGEL-
5200 LX Premium model is the foundation for this
series. A Firefox browser and plug-ins such as
Acrobat-Reader and Flash Player are included in
the firmware. The more powerful IGEL-5300 LX
Premium includes a Java Runtime Environment
and Mplayer offering excellent multimedia capabili-
ties. In addition to Java support it also features
a SAP GUI for direct access to SAP servers.
