The versions of the CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 applications delivered in the new, upgrade and update packaging will contain
Windows and Solaris versions from the previous CiscoWorks LMS 2.5.1 release. In addition to these application CDs, the packaging will
also include a CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 Bundle-Level Update CD that will install updates to each application and revise its version level to

NEW FEATURES
The new features of CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 broaden the solution choices for small or large enterprise and service provider customers. Its
enhancements focus on the important areas of network security, performance, scalability, and improved navigation and usability.
Additionally, CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 offers new packaging and licensing options with support for newer versions of operating systems and
browsers.
New features in CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 include:

New device selector—The CiscoWorks device selector has been “retooled” to improve overall usability based on customer
feedback. Some of the new features include:

Device selector configurations can be made per user, thus making device selection quick and easy.

Advanced search feature to simplify device selection

Group selector option for improved reporting tasks

Improved application dashboards—New application dashboards have been created to provide easier navigation into commonly
used functions as well as providing important up-to-date information in a single view.

Single setup page—A single setup page is now available to enter all setup parameters, reducing the need to search extensively for
administrative settings to configure the CiscoWorks environment.

New performance tuning options for RME—Optional system-tuning parameters can be used to improve the overall performance of
RME based on CiscoWorks server settings.
UPGRADE OPTIONS
CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 offers two upgrade programs. Tables 2 and 3 provide information on upgrade paths available to customers currently
