The Seagate Savvio 10K.2 hard drive is 70
percent smaller than 3.5-inch drives, consuming
less power and enabling more airflow to cool
processors. The 2.5-inch Savvio 10K.2 drive
enables more drives per system, increasing
RAID options and performance per U. With a
record-breaking reliability rating and the best
nonrecoverable error rate in the world, the Savvio
10K.2 drive delivers high reliability and improved
performance density in a cooler running system.
The Savvio 10K.2 drive is available in 73-GB and
146-GB capacities with a 3-Gb/s Serial Attached
SCSI (SAS) interface. For all these reasons,
