12.2 Power Supply Output Requirements
This section is for reference purposes only. The intent is to provide guidance to system
designers to determine a power supply to use with these server boards. This section specifies
the power supply requirements Intel
designers to determine a power supply to use with these server boards. This section specifies
the power supply requirements Intel

used to develop a mini-ERP 450W power supply for its 1U
server system.
12.2.1
Output Power/Currents
The following table defines the output current ratings. Each output has a maximum and
minimum current rating shown below. The power supply shall meet both static and dynamic
voltage regulation requirements for the minimum dynamic load conditions. The power supply
must meet only the static load voltage regulation requirements for the minimum static load
conditions.

The 5VSB output shall be present when an AC input greater than the power supply turn on
voltage is applied.
voltage is applied.
12.2.3
Voltage Regulation
The power supply output voltages must stay within the following voltage limits when operating at
steady state and dynamic loading conditions. These limits include the peak-peak ripple/noise.
These shall be measured at the output connectors.
