11. SETTING DISPLAY LANGUAGE
You can switch the display language between German and English.
•  Press and hold the button 
“C/F”
 (4) for about 3 seconds.
•  The display switches between German and English.
12. SETTING TEMPERATURE UNIT
•  Briefly push the button “C/F” (4) at the base station to switch the temperature unit between °C 
(degrees Celsius) and °F (degrees Fahrenheit). 
•  To switch the remote sensor display between °C and °F, briefly push the button “C/F” (19) in the 
battery compartment of the remote sensor (20).
The setting of the temperature unit for base station and remote sensor is independant.
13. SETTING MIN/MAX TEMPERATURE VALUES
1.  Press the button 
SET
 (3) to enter the setting mode. The symbol SET lights up in the LC display 
of the base station and the MAX value starts blinking.
2.  Use the buttons 
+
 (5) or 
-
 (6) to set the desired temperature value. The default temperature 
value is -50 °C.
3.  Press afterwards the button 
SET
 (3) to set the MIN value.
4.  Use the buttons 
+
 (5) or 
-
 (6) to set the desired temperature value.
5.  Press the button 
SET
 (3) to save the values and exit the setting mode.
When the measured temperature of the remote sensor drops below or exceeds the set 
values, the backlight of the base station starts blinking and the buzzer becomes active. 
Press the button 
BACKLIGHT/ALERT STOP
 (2) to deactivate the alarm. The buzzer is 
deactivated by default.
When the temperature drops below -50 °C or exceeds +120 °C, the LC display shows 
Lo
 or respectively 
Hi
.
Press and hold the button 
BACKLIGHT/ALERT STOP
 (2) for approx. three seconds 
in order to activate/deactivate the buzzer. One single beep means, that the buzzer is 
deactivated. Two beeps mean, that the buzzer is activated.
14. SETTING BACKLIGHT
Briefly push the button “
BACKLIGHT/ALERT STOP
” (2) to activate the backlighting of the LC display 
of the base station for about 5 seconds.
