This guide will help you understand the basics of 

piloting Parrot Rolling Spider. For more information, 

watch our videos and refer to the support section of 

our website 

www.parrot.com

1.   

Insert the battery into the appropriate 

 

compartment (diagram 1).

2.   Connect the Parrot Rolling Spider to a USB 

charger or to your computer using the USB/mi-

cro-USB cable provided (diagram 2). The char-

ging time for the battery is approximately 1 hour 

30 minutes.

download the FreeFlight 3 app free of charge.

Insert the battery into the battery compartment or 

tap on the On/Off button to switch on the Parrot 

Rolling Spider. 
The On/Off button is located under the Parrot Rol-

ling Spider, below and to the right of the vertical 

camera.

Insert the battery into the appropriate 

 

compartment.

2.   Place the Parrot Rolling Spider on the floor and 

wait for the lights to turn green.

3.   Activate  the  Bluetooth function on your smart-

phone.

4.   Launch the FreeFlight 3 app. The Parrot Rolling 

Spider will connect automatically to your smart-

phone.  

5.   Press 

FREE FLIGHT

 to fly the Parrot Rolling  

Spider.

The wheels protect the Parrot Rolling Spider in the 

event of collision with another object. They also  

allow it to move easily over floor, walls and ceiling. To 

attach the wheels:

1.   Place the central axle through the middle of each 

wheel (diagram 3).

2.   Place the axle on the upper section of the Parrot 

Rolling Spider.

3.   Clip on the wheels by pulling down the release 

lever (diagram 4).

case of collision with any object. When rotating, the 

propellers of the Parrot Rolling Spider could cause 

injury to people, animals and property.
You should not touch the Parrot Rolling Spider when 

propellers are rotating and should wait until the pro-

pellers have completely stopped before handling the 

Parrot Rolling Spider.
Do not use spare parts and accessories other than 

those specified by Parrot.
The Parrot Rolling Spider may be irreversibly da-

maged if you allow sand or dust to penetrate it.
Keep the Parrot Rolling Spider away from high vol-

tage power lines, trees, buildings and any other po-

tentially dangerous or hazardous areas.
Do not use the Parrot Rolling Spider in wet condi-

tions. Do not land the Parrot Rolling Spider on water 

or on a wet surface. This could result in irreversible 

damages. Avoid subjecting the Rolling Spider to ag-

gressive altitude changes. Do not leave the Parrot 

Rolling Spider in direct sunlight for long periods.
Use the Parrot Rolling Spider in respect of people ‘s 

privacy. Do not record and/or circulate any person ‘s 

picture without their consent.
Small parts may be swallowed. All materials for faste-

ning or packing purposes are not part of the product 

and should be discarded for children’s safety.

Without prejudice to any applicable statutory war-

ranty, Parrot warrants that the Parrot Rolling Spi-

der will be free from defects in material and work-

manship for a period of 12-months from the initial 

date of purchase (excluding consumables which are 

warranted during 6 months from the initial date of 

purchase) upon presentation of proof of purchase 

to the retailer (including the date and place of pur-

chase, product serial number).

At the end of this product’s life, please do not 

dispose of this product in your general 

household waste. Instead, in order to prevent 

possible harm to the environment or human 

health from uncontrolled waste disposal, please dis-

pose of this product separately in accordance with 

your local laws and regulation. For more information 

on the separate collection systems for waste electri-

cal and electronic equipment that are available for 

consumers, near your home, free of charge, please 

contact your local municipality authority. You can 

also contact the retailer from which you purchased 

your Parrot Rolling Spider – he might have put in 

place recycling services or he may be part of a speci-

fic recycling scheme.

Read the entire instruction sheet included with this 

battery. Failure to follow all instructions could cause 

permanent damage to the battery and its surroun-

dings, and cause bodily harm. Never use anything 

except a LiPo approved charger. Always use a LiPo 

cell balancing charger or a LiPo cell balancer.  Never 

charge through the discharge lead. Never trickle 

charge, or allow to discharge below 2.5V per cell. Ne-

ver allow the battery temperature to exceed 140°F 

(60°C). Never disassemble or modify pack wiring in 

any way or puncture cells. Never place on combus-

tible materials or leave unattended during charge. 

Always charge in a fireproof location. Always set 

charger’s output volts to match battery volts. Always  

keep out of reach of children. Improper battery use 

may result in a fire, explosion or other hazard. 

The battery terminals should not be al-

lowed to short-circuit. The product should 

be connected only to class II appliances 

which display the  symbol.

This equipment has been tested and found to 

comply with the limits for a Class B Digital Device, 

pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules / with Industry 

Canada Licence-exempt RSS standard(s). These li-

mits are designed to provide reasonable protection 

against harmful interference in a residential installa-

The Parrot Rolling Spider is not suitable for use by 

children under 14 years of age.
The Parrot Rolling Spider is a model aircraft designed 

only for recreation, entertainment, and competitions 

between model aircraft. The pilot must directly 

control the flight path of his or her Parrot Rolling 

Spider at all times in order to avoid any obstacles, 

and must take care only to use it in suitable locations 

chosen to ensure that people, animals and property 

remain safe at all times.
The use of the Parrot Rolling Spider in some public 

areas (for instance train stations, trains, airports, 

aircrafts, etc.) may be prohibited. You should check 

whether the use of the Parrot Rolling Spider is per-

mitted before using it in public areas or public trans-

port.

1.   Insertar la batería en la ranura indicada (Figura1).
2.   Conectar el Parrot Rolling Spider a un cargador 

USB o al ordenador mediante el cable USB / 

micro USB suministrado (Figura2). El tiempo de 

carga de la batería es de aproximadamente 1 hora

1.   Insertar el eje central en el centro de cada rueda

de la parte superior del Parrot Rolling Spider (Fi-

gura 4).

3.   Sujetar las ruedas en el Parrot Rolling Spider 

bajando la pestaña de bloqueo.

Para desmontar las ruedas, empujar la pestaña de 

bloqueo hacia la derecha.

Para utilizar el Parrot Rolling Spider en lugares inte-

riores, instalar las ruedas para proteger el Parrot Rol-

ling Spider de posibles choques con otros objetos.
Las hélices del Parrot Rolling Spider en movimiento 

pueden causar daños a personas u objetos. No tocar 

el Parrot Rolling Spider mientras está volando. Espe-

rar a que el movimiento de las hélices cese comple-

Leer detenidamente la hoja de instrucciones que se

1.   Legen Sie die Batterie in das entsprechende Fach 

ein.

2.   Stellen Sie Parrot Rolling Spider auf den Boden 

und warten Sie, bis die Kontrollleuchten grün 

leuchten.

3.   Aktivieren Sie an Ihrem Smartphone die Bluetoo-

th-Funktion.

4.   Starten Sie die Anwendung FreeFlight 3. Die 

Verbindung zwischen Smartphone und Parrot 

Rolling Spider wird automatisch hergestellt.  

5.   Drücken  Sie

ling Spider zu steuern.

Die Räder dienen zum Schutz von Parrot Rolling 

Spider im Falle eines Zusammenstoßes mit einem 

anderen Gegenstand. Außerdem kann Parrot Rol-

ling Spider dank seiner Räder auf Fußböden, Mauern 

oder Decken fahren. 

1.   Stecken Sie die Zentralachse in den Mittelpunkt 

der beiden Räder (Abbildung 3).

2.   Stecken Sie die Achse in den dafür vorgesehenen 

Platz in der oberen Mitte des Parrot Rolling Spi-

1.  Insérez la batterie dans l’emplacement prévu à 

cet effet (schéma 1).

2.  Connectez le Parrot Rolling Spider à un chargeur 

USB ou à votre ordinateur en utilisant le câble 

USB / micro-USB fourni (schéma 2). Le temps 

de chargement de la batterie est d’environ 1h30.

Insérez la batterie dans l’emplacement prévu à cet 

effet ou appuyez sur le bouton On/Off pour allumer 

le Parrot Rolling Spider. 
Le bouton On / Off est situé en dessous du Parrot 

Rolling Spider, en bas à droite de la caméra verticale.

1.  Insérez la batterie dans l’emplacement prévu à

2.  Posez le Parrot Rolling Spider sur le sol et  

patientez jusqu’à ce que les voyants deviennent 

verts.

3.  Activez la fonction Bluetooth sur votre 

 

smartphone.

4.  Lancez l’application FreeFlight 3. La connexion 

s’établit automatiquement entre le smartphone 

et le Parrot Rolling Spider.

Les roues du Parrot Rolling Spider permettent de le 

protéger en cas de collision. Elles permettent éga-

lement de le faire rouler au sol, sur les murs et au 

plafond.

1.   Clipsez les 2 roues à l’axe central (schéma 3).
2.  Insérez l’axe au sommet du Parrot Rolling Spider.
3.  Clipsez le levier de verrouillage (schéma 4).

Pour retirer les roues, poussez le levier de 

 

verrouillage vers la droite.

installez les roues afin de protéger le Parrot Rolling 

Spider en cas de collision avec un autre objet.
Les hélices du Parrot Rolling Spider en vol peuvent 

causer des dommages à des personnes ou à des ob-

jets. Ne touchez pas le Parrot Rolling Spider en vol. 

Patientez jusqu’à l’arrêt total des hélices avant de 

manipuler le Parrot Rolling Spider. 
Utilisez uniquement les accessoires spécifiés par le 

constructeur. 
Si du sable ou de la poussière pénètre dans le Par-

rot Rolling Spider, celui-ci peut ne plus fonctionner 

correctement, de manière irréversible. N’utilisez pas 

le Parrot Rolling Spider dans des conditions météo-

rologiques défavorables (pluie, vent fort, neige) ou 

lorsque les conditions de visibilité sont insuffisantes 

(nuit). 
Maintenez le Parrot Rolling Spider à l’écart de lignes 

de haute tension, arbres, bâtiments ou toute autre 

zone potentiellement dangereuse. 
N’utilisez pas cet appareil à proximité de substances

l’exception d’un chargeur approuvé LiPo. Toujours 

utiliser un chargeur à équilibrage de cellules LiPo ou 

un équilibreur de cellules LiPo. Ne jamais charger via 

un fil de décharge. Ne jamais effectuer de charge-

ment à régime lent, ou en dessous de 2,5 V par cel-

lule. La température de la batterie ne doit jamais ex-

céder les 60 °C (140 °F). Ne jamais désassembler ou 

modifier le câblage du boîtier, ou percer les cellules. 

Ne jamais placer sur des matériaux combustibles 

ou laisser sans surveillance pendant le chargement. 

Toujours charger dans un endroit à l’épreuve du feu. 

Toujours s’assurer que la tension de sortie du char-

geur corresponde à la tension de la batterie. Tou-

jours tenir hors de portée des enfants. Une mauvaise 

utilisation de la batterie peut provoquer des incen-

dies, des explosions ou d’autres dangers.

Les bornes de la batterie ne doivent pas 

être mises en court-circuit. Le produit doit 

uniquement être connecté au matériel de
