The DAC5681/81z/82z EVM comes with a software package that allows the user to configure the DAC
and CDCM7005 registers, save and load register settings to/from text files, and visualize the data path
through the DAC. Communication with the EVM is achieved through a USB port on the host PC. Once the
software is installed, the GUI is accessible from Start > All Programs > Texas Instruments DACs >
DAC5682z EVM Control.

Before installing the software, verify that the PC meets the following requirements:

Microsoft Windows™ 2000 or later operating system
•
1024 x 768 screen resolution for optimal viewing
•
USB 1.1 or later compatible input port
Other configurations may work; however, they remain untested.
