This chapter contains examples of how to connect to the STK500 from the PC 
Frontend and how to read signature from a device.  

The sequence of commands and parameters sent from AvrStudio to the STK500 in 
order to connect is listed below.  

•  CMD_SIGN_ON 
•  CMD_GET_PARAMETER, PARAM_TOPCARD_DETECT 
•  CMD_GET_PARAMETER, PARAM_HW_VER 
•  CMD_GET_PARAMETER, PARAM_SW_MAJOR 
•  CMD_GET_PARAMETER, PARAM_SW_MINOR

order to read the device signature through ISP is listed below. Note that one already 
have to be connected to do this.
