c) Adjusting the Linkage Rods
All rudder flaps are attached ready to use already. The rudder flaps are rather immobile right from the
packaging for production reasons. Therefore, we recommend first moving each rudder flap carefully to the
end deflections a few times before assembly. This makes the rudder flaps move more smoothly.

Before the first flight, with the remote control switched on and the trims in the neutral position, set all rud-
ders by shortening the linkage rods so that all rudder flaps are precisely at a level with the wings/elevators
and rudders.
The linkage rods of the rudders and ailerons as well as the curved flaps are attached to the servos with a „bent L“ in
the servo rudder horns (1). To secure the rods, an additional safety clip (2) and retention ring (3) must be installed.
The other ends of the thrust rods have ball heads (4) that can be adjusted in length by turning. Clip the ball heads
into the rudder horns. Observe that the ball heads can only be attached easily on one side.
Install and adjust the linkage rods at the ailerons and wing flaps of both wings according to the procedure in the
rudder (figure 4).
For shortening the elevator linkage, loosen the screw from the rod connection (see figure 3, item 5), adjust the rods
and fasten the setting by screwing it on tightly.
