UNS Series User’s Guide

The chapter provides information for the Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) in Configuration. 

The AFP tab is used to setup AFP protocol. The AFP is a network protocol that offers file sharing 
services for Mac computers.

Starting this service opens the following ports on the ZyXEL unified storage system:

• TCP 548 (afpd)
• TCP 4799 (cnid_metadata)
• UDP 5353 and a random UDP port (avahi).

Click Configuration > Application Configuration > AFP to display the following screen.

Select to enable or disable the service.

Apply

Click Apply to save the changes.

Reset

Click Reset to discard the changes.
