Follow this procedure to clear the memory from your V35:
1
Disconnect all cables, including the AC adapter, from your V35.

Unscrew the tip of the stylus. Use the tip to push the battery switch to the
OFF (up) position.

Wait for three (3) minutes then push the battery switch to the ON (down)

The Notification indicator will flash red for approximately 30 seconds, and
then your V35 will automatically turn on and display the Welcome Wizard
then your V35 will automatically turn on and display the Welcome Wizard
screen.
NOTE: If the battery runs completely out of power and is not re-charged in
time, the memory of your V35 will be cleared.
Power Problems
Power does not turn on when using battery power
• The remaining battery power may be too low to run your V35. Connect the
AC adapter to your V35 and to external AC power. Then, turn on your V35.
(Charge the battery whenever possible to avoid running out of battery
power.)
Battery runs out of power quickly
• You might be using your V35 in ways that drain power quickly. (See
“Managing Power” in Chapter 3 for tips on saving power.)
