Check the water filter installation record.  There is a place to 
write the vend number on the cartridge.  The cartridge is effec-
tive for a maximum of 26,000 7 oz. vends, 22,000 8 oz. vends, 
20,000 9 oz. vends, or 15,000 12 oz. vends.  Local conditions 
may require more frequent replacement.

National Vendors recommends that you do the following procedure the first time 
you fill the tank in your merchandiser:

a.

Remove the small inner "O" ring from the filter cartridge.

b.

Install the filter cartridge.

c.

Turn on the water at its source, and perform the tank filling procedure.

d.

Turn off the water at its source, remove the filter cartridge, and replace 
the "O" ring.

e.

Install the filter cartridge.
