Check the integrity of the AMASS File System 
Database by running the 

dbcheck

 utility:

# /usr/amass/utils/dbcheck -a /usr/filesysdb/vgdv

Performs consistency check on:

• Key access

• Key data

• Complete set

Also performs a timestamp check for 
records and sets.

Enter one of the following:

• filesv

N = Checks the files in the 

File System Database.

• vgdv

N= Checks the volumes in the 

File System Database.

N = Current version number of the 
AMASS File System Database.

NOTE: Do not use the. dbd file 
extension when running this utility.
