Remote Control 
Unpack the remote control from box. This includes one lithium 

battery, CR2025/3V. Please note this remote control will not work 

through walls. Remove battery before discarding the remote.
NOTE: REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE COVER FROM THE BATTERY 

PRIOR TO BEGINNING OPERATION. 
Battery Replacement
1.  Locate the battery compartment on the back of the 

remote control handset. Insert a small object (such as 

a pin or paper clip) into the hole of the battery cover 

lock (see Figure 6) and slide out the battery cover.

2.  Remove old battery.

3.  Place new battery into battery compartment.

4.  Slide battery compartment into the remote control 

handset until the Battery Cover Lock is securely 

latched.

5.  For your convenience, a remote control holder is 

integrated into the back of the heater housing.

•  Remove the battery from the equipment when it is not

being used for an extended period of time.

•  Remove the used battery promptly.

•  Do not discard used batteries into household trash

containers. Contact your local government for disposal or 

recycling practices in your area.

Potential for Radio/Television interference 
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation 

is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may 

not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must 

accept any interference received, including interference that 

may cause undesired operation. 
This product has been tested and found to comply with the 

limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the 

FCC rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection 

against harmful interference in a residential installation. The 

product generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency 

energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the 

instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio 

communications. However, there is no guarantee that the

NOTE: A Phillips screwdriver is required for assembly. 

Unpack your heater from the box, being careful to remove 

all parts from plastic bags and remaining packaging. Please 

save the carton for off-season storage.
Your heater is packed with separate base and pedestal in the 

box. Carefully remove all parts from plastic bags. To prevent 

scratches, place all parts onto a cloth before assembly. Follow 

the below instructions for Pedestal/Base assembly:
Pedestal Assembly

Step 1:    Run the power cord through the center of the 

assembled pedestal. Snap pedestal into the 

bottom of the heater housing. Refer to Figure 1, 2. 

Insert the alignment post from the heater housing 

into the hole on the pedestal for proper alignment.

Step 1:    If the base is in two halves, snap them together 

by sliding slots of one base half into slots of 

second base half. Refer to Figure 3.

Step 2:    Run the power cord through the center of the 

assembled base. To assemble the base to the unit 

first make sure the side marked “Rear” is facing 

the back of the heater. Insert the alignment posts 

from the pedestal into the alignment holes on 

base for proper alignment. Line up holes of the 

base with holes on bottom of pedestal, and 

secure with 4 provided screws. Refer to Figure 4.

Step 3:    Lace the power cord through the cord minders on 

the underside of the base. Refer to Figure 5.

Step 4:    Turn the heater right side up on a flat level 

surface prior to beginning operation. 

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should 

always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and 

injury to persons, including the following:

1.   Read all instructions before using this heater.

2.   This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let 

bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles 

when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, 

such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and 

curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the 

heater and keep them away from the sides and rear. 

3.   Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by 

or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is 

left operating and unattended. 

4.   Always unplug heater when not in use. 

5.   Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug 

or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or 

damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to 

authorized service facility for examination and/or 

repair. 

6.   Do not use outdoors. 

7.   This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, 

laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate 

heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water 

container. 

8.   Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with 

throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route 

cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away 

from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over. 

9.   To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove 

plug from outlet.

10.  Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any 

ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an 

electric shock or fire, or damage the heater. 

11.  To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or 

exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like 

a bed, where openings may become blocked. 

12. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do 

not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable 

liquids are used or stored. 

13.  Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any 

other use not recommended by the manufacturer may 

cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. 

14.  Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/

receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or 

relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip). 

15.  When unplugging, be sure to pull by the plug and not 

the cord. 

16.  If the heater will not operate, see specific instructions on 

Auto Safety Shut-off. 

17.  DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or 

mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void your 

warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user 

serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by 

qualified personnel only. 

18.  Discontinue use if plug or outlet is hot. It is 

recommended that the outlet be replaced if plug or 

outlet is hot to touch.

19.  The heater must not be located immediately below a 

socket-outlet. Do not use this heater in the immediate 

surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

Stay On mode to prevent the heater from 

cycling. When the preset temperature is reached or when the 

heater is shut off, the fan will run for 15 seconds without 

heat. This cool down process ensures an accurate and 

consistent temperature reading.
NOTE: To shut the heater off at any setting, press the Power 

Button ( ) until the LCD Display goes off. The heater will 

cool down for 15 seconds, and the 

Fan Only indicator light 

will blink in Amber until cool down is completed. The digital 

thermostat has memory; it will remember the last 

temperature setting before the heater is turned off. However, 

if the heater is unplugged, the digital thermostat will no 

longer remember the previous temperature setting. You will 

need to reset the digital thermostat if the heater is unplugged.

Press the Oscillation Button (

) on control panel or 

remote control to activate or stop the oscillation feature. 
NOTE: Please do not manually turn the heater on the base. 

It is designed to turn only by motorized oscillation.

Your heater is equipped with 24-Hour Auto Shut-off Timer 

feature. This allows you to program your heater to shut off 

automatically after running a defined time interval (from 0 

to 24 hours).

1.  Press the Timer Button ( ) once. The indicator light will 

begin to blink for 5 seconds. The LCD Display will show 

“0” and the “Hr” icon.

2.  Turn the Dial Wheel on the control panel to adjust from 

0 to 24 to select your desired time interval for the 

heater to shut-off automatically. The selected hour will 

appear on the LCD Display, and then the Timer indicator 

light will stop blinking in 3 seconds to indicate that the 

selected timer is activated. The LCD Display will return to 

show the 

preset temperature and mode setting.

3.  To cancel the Timer feature, press the Timer Button ( ) 

twice within 5 seconds, the Timer indicator light will go off.

NOTE: The timer does not work with the FrostProtect

TM

 Setting.

Always unplug the heater before cleaning and allow the 

heater to cool down.

1.  Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild 

soap and water solution.

2.  NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit.

3.  After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a 

cloth or towel.

4.   Store heater in a cool, dry location.

5.   It is recommended that you store the unit in its original 

carton.

 

TIP: Over time, dust may accumulate on the front grills. 

This can be removed by wiping the unit with a damp cloth.

 

This heater is equipped with a technologically-advanced 

safety system that requires the user to reset the heater if 

there is a potential overheat situation. When a potential 

overheat temperature is reached, the system will 

automatically shut the heater off. It can only resume 

operation when the user resets the unit. 
If the heater shuts down and the Power Light 

1.  Stand the heater upright.

2.  Unplug the heater and allow 30 minutes for the heater 

to cool down.

3.  After 30 minutes plug the heater in and operate normally.

4.  If the heater does not work normally, repeat steps 1, 2 

and 3 again. 

NOTE: If the heater is plugged in again and Power On/Off 

Button is pressed within the 30-minute cool down period, 

heater will run at Max Heat setting, but shut down in 2 

seconds with the Power Light flashing. Please repeat the 

above 4 steps to reset the heater again and ensure to allow 

sufficient time for the thermostat to cool down.

When the unit is accidentally knocked over, it will instantly 

shut off and the Power Light will flash. The unit may also 

shut off if it is moved or bumped. To reset, simply place the 

heater in an upright position, the Power Light will stop 

flashing and it will operate normally.  

NOTE: If unit does not turn on when placed in the upright 

position, press Power On/Off Button once and heater will 

resume operation.

CONTROL REMOTO

Reemplazo De Pilas

1.  

El compartimiento para las pilas se encuentra en la parte 

posterior del control remoto. Inserte un objeto pequeño 

(como un alfiler o clip) en el orificio de la tapa de la 

batería de seguridad (ver Figura 6) y deslice la tapa de 

la batería.

2.  Quite la pila usada.

3.  Coloque la pila nueva en el compartimiento.

4.   Deslice el compartimiento de la pila hacia el control 

remoto hasta que la traba de la tapa de la pila se 

encuentre bien fija.

5.  Para su comodidad, encontrará un soporte para el control 

remoto en la parte posterior del armazón del calentador.

•  Quite las pilas del equipo cuando no lo vaya a usar por

un período de tiempo prolongado.

•  Reemplace las pilas que estén agotadas.

•  No deseche las pilas usadas en contenedores de basura de

la casa. Comuníquese con el gobierno local para informarse 

sobre las prácticas de reciclaje o de desecho de su zona.

Posibilidad de interferencias con Radio/Televisión 
Este equipo cumple con la Parte 15 de las Normas de la FCC.

NOTA: Se requiere un desarmador Phillips para el montaje. 

Saque el calentador de la caja, tenga cuidado de sacar todas 

las piezas de las bolsas de plástico y del material restante de 

embalaje. Conserve la caja para almacenamiento del 

calentador fuera de estación.
El calentador viene embalado con una base y un soporte 

separados en la caja. Retire con cuidado todas las partes de las 

bolsas de plástico. Para evitar que se rayen, coloque todas las 

partes sobre un paño antes de ensamblar. Siga las instrucciones 

a continuación para el ensamblado del soporte y la base:
Ensamblaje del pedestal

marcado como “Posterior” esté orientado hacia 

la parte posterior del calentador. Inserte los palos 

de alineación del pedestal en los orificios de 

alineación de la base para una alineación

y lesiones personales al utilizar electrodomésticos, siga 

siempre las precauciones básicas de seguridad, incluyendo 

las que se mencionan a continuación:

7.   Este calentador no está diseñado para ser utilizado en 

baños, lavaderos y zonas similares de interiores. NUNCA 

coloque el calentador donde pueda caerse dentro de una 

bañera u otro recipiente con agua. 

8.   No coloque el cable debajo de la alfombra. No cubra el 

cable con alfombras, tapetes o artículos similares. No 

pase el cable por debajo de muebles o electrodomésticos. 

Coloque el cable lejos del área de tráfico y donde no se 

tropiece con él. 

9.   Para desconectarlo, gire el control a la posición OFF, 

luego quite el enchufe del tomacorriente. 

10.  No inserte ni permita que objetos extraños penetren en 

la ventilación o salida de aire ya que esto puede causar 

un choque eléctrico o incendio, o dañar el calentador. 

11.  Para evitar un posible incendio, no bloquee las entradas 

de aire o escape de ninguna manera. No lo use en

12. Un calentador tiene partes calientes y que pueden

13.  Utilice este calentador sólo como se describe en este 

manual. Cualquier otro uso no recomendado por el 

fabricante puede provocar incendios, descargas eléctricas 

o lesiones a personas. 

14.  Siempre conecte el calentador directamente a un 

tomacorriente de pared. Nunca lo use con un cable de 

extensión o con un tomacorriente múltiple. 

15.  Al desenchufarlo, asegúrese de tirar del enchufe y no 

del cable. 

16.  Si el calentador no funciona, vea las instrucciones 

específicas del apagado automático de seguridad. 

17.  NO intente reparar o ajustar ninguna función eléctrica o 

mecánica de esta unidad. El hacerlo invalidará la 

garantía. La unidad no contiene partes reparables por el 

usuario. Toda reparación debe ser realizada únicamente 

por personal calificado. 

18.  Deje de usarlo si el cable o el enchufe se calienta. Se 

recomienda que reemplace el tomacorriente si el 

enchufe o el tomacorriente se calienta. 

19.  El calentador no se debe localizar inmediatamente debajo 

de un tomacorriente. No use este calentador en áreas 

cercanas a un baño, una ducha o una piscina. 

El calentador se encuentra equipado con 

FrostProtect™. El calentador se encenderá de manera 

automática cuando la temperatura ambiente baje a menos de 

40 ºF. Para activar la configuración FrostProtect™, gire la 

Rueda indicadora hasta 

“40” y el ícono FrostProtect™   

( ) aparecerá en el visor LCD.
NOTA: Es normal que el calentador se encienda y se apague 

para mantener la temperatura preestablecida. Cambie la 

configuración del termostato u opere en el modo Permanecer 

encendido para evitar que el calentador se encienda y se 

apague. Cuando el calentador llega a la temperatura 

preestablecida o cuando se apaga el calentador, el ventilador 

continuará funcionando durante 15 segundos sin calor. Este 

proceso de enfriamiento asegura una lectura de temperatura 

precisa y uniforme.
NOTA: Para apagar el calentador cualquiera sea la 

configuración, presione el botón Encendido ( ) hasta que el 

visor LCD se apague. El calentador se enfriará por 15 

segundos y la luz indicadora de Sólo ventilador titilará en 

color ámbar hasta que se enfríe por completo. El termostato 

digital tiene memoria. Registrará la última configuración de 

temperatura antes que se apague el calentador. Sin embargo, 

si el calentador no está conectado, el termostato digital no 

registrará la configuración previa de temperatura. Deberá 

restablecer el termostato digital si se desconecta el calentador. 

Presione el botón Oscilación (

) del panel de control o 

del control remoto (si corresponde) para activar o detener la 

función de oscilación. 
NOTA: No encienda manualmente el calentador en la base. 

Está diseñado para encenderse únicamente ante oscilaciones 

motorizadas. 

Algunos modelos vienen con la función de temporizador de 

apagado automático a las 24 horas. Esto permite programar 

el calentador para que se apague de manera automática 

luego de un período determinado (de 0 a 24 horas).
1.  Presione el botón Temporizador ( ) una vez. La luz 

indicadora comenzará a titilar durante 5 segundos. El 

visor LCD mostrará 

“0” y el ícono “Hora”.

2.  Gire la rueda indicadora que aparece en el panel de 

control para regular de 

0 a 24 y seleccionar su período 

de tiempo deseado a fin de que el calentador se apague 

automáticamente. se apagará automáticamente. La hora 

seleccionada aparecerá en el visor LCD y la luz del 

indicador del Temporizador y el anillo de energía 

eléctrica dejarán de titilar en 3 segundos para indicar 

que el termostato seleccionado se encuentra activado. El 

visor LCD volverá a mostrar la 

preestablecida y el modo de configuración. 

3.  Para cancelar la función Temporizador, presione el botón 

Temporizador ( ) dos veces en 5 segundos y la luz del 

indicador del Temporizador se apagará.

NOTA: El temporizador no funciona con la configuración 

FrostProtect

TM

. 

Siempre desenchufe el calentador y deje que se enfríe antes 

de limpiarlo.

1.   Limpie la unidad con un paño suave humedecido en una 

solución suave de agua y jabón.

2.   NUNCA utilice solventes abrasivos o inflamables para 

limpiar la unidad.

3.   Luego de limpiarla, asegúrese de secar completamente la 

unidad con un trapo o toalla.

4.   Guarde el calentador en un lugar fresco y seco.

5.   Se recomienda guardar la unidad en su embalaje original. 

 

*CONSEJO: Con el transcurso del tiempo se acumulará 

polvo en las rejillas delanteras que puede eliminarse con 

un paño húmedo.

 

Esta estufa está equipada con un sistema de seguridad 

tecnológicamente avanzado y que requiere que el usuario la 

reactive si se produce un recalentamiento. Si la unidad se 

recalienta, el sistema la apagará automáticamente y sólo 

podrá volver a funcionar si el usuario la reactiva manualmente. 
Si el calentador se apaga y el Luz de Encendido 

1.  Coloque el calentador en forma vertical.

2.   Desenchufe la unidad y espere 30 minutos.

3.   Enchufela y vuélvala a operar normalmente.

1.  Place heater on a firm, level surface. 

2.  Plug heater into a standard outlet. Once plugged in, the 

Power Light will illuminate. 

 

NOTE: Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other 

high wattage appliances in the same outlet. At 1500 

watts, this unit draws 12.5 Amps.

3.  Operate heater by pressing the Power Button ( ) and 

selecting modes and settings according to preference. 

 

NOTE: Remove the plastic film from the control panel 

before using (if included). 

 

Press the Power On/Off Button to turn the heater on. Once 

on, the heater will run in the 

Max Heat mode and the 

Stay On icon will appear on the LCD Display. Press the 

Power On/Off button to manually turn off the heater at any 

setting. 
NOTE: The Power Light will remain illuminated while unit is 

plugged in.

Mode Selection
Select your desired heat settings by pressing the 

corresponding buttons as located on your heater or press the 

Mode button on remote control to cycle through the heat 

settings. An indicator light will illuminate next to each button 

to indicate that the selected setting/mode is activated.

Press the 

Fan Only Button to run the heater without heat 

output. The 

Stay On icon will appear on the LCD Display.

Press the 

Max Heat Button to run the heater continuously 

at 1500W. The 

Stay On icon will appear on the LCD Display.

Press the 

Eco-Smart™ Button to activate the energy 

efficient 

Eco-Smart™ Mode. The heater will now cycle 

between high (at 1500W) and low (at 750W) heat settings to 

provide heat. The 

Stay On icon will appear on the LCD Display. 

Your heater is equipped with a digital thermostat that allows 

you to set your heater to a precise comfort level by turning 

the Dial Wheel on the control panel or pressing the arrow 

buttons on the remote control:
Turn the Dial Wheel to activate. The 

Thermostat icon ( ) 

will appear on the LCD Display.
To preset a precise comfort level, turn the Dial Wheel to 

adjust the temperature from 

85°F to 65°F (Default: 

“85”). The LCD Display will show the selected temperature 

reading. When the preset temperature is reached, the heater 

will shut off and cool down for 15 seconds. When the room 

temperature drops below the preset temperature, the heater 

will automatically turn on again to maintain the preset 

temperature level.

Your heater is equipped with 

FrostProtect™ setting. The 

heater will turn on automatically when the room temperature 

drops below 40°F. To activate FrostProtect™ setting, turn the 

Dial Wheel to show 

“40” and the FrostProtect™ icon  

( ) will appear on the LCD Display. 
NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle on and off to

1.  Coloque el calentador en una superficie firma y nivelada. 

2.  Conecte el calentador en un tomacorriente estándar. Una 

vez conectado, la luz de encendido se iluminará. 

 

NOTA: Evite sobrecargar el circuito eléctrico evitando utilizar 

otro aparato de alta potencia en el mismo tomacorriente. A 

1500 Vatios, esta unidad consume 12.5 Amperes. 

3.  Active el calentador presionando el botón Encendido ( ) 

y seleccione modos y configuraciones de acuerdo con su 

preferencia. 

 

NOTA: Retire la película plástica del panel de control 

antes de usarlo (si se incluye). 

Presione el botón Encendido/Apagado para encender el 

calentador. Una vez encendido, el calentador operará en el 

modo 

Temperatura máxima y el ícono Permancer 

encendido aparecerá en el visor LCD. Presione el botón 

Encendido/Apagado para apagar de manera manual el 

calentador cualquiera sea la configuración. 

NOTA: El Luz de Encendido eléctrica permanecerá iluminado 

mientras la unidad se encuentre conectada.
Selección de modo 
Seleccione las configuraciones de temperatura deseadas 

presionando los botones correspondientes de su calentador o 

presione el botón Modo del control remoto para recorrer las 

configuraciones de temperatura.  Una luz indicadora se 

encenderá al lado del botón para indicar que se ha activado 

el modo o la configuración seleccionada. 

Presione el botón 

Sólo ventilador para que activar el 

calentador sin salida de calor. El ícono 

encendido aparecerá en el visor LCD.

Presione el botón 

Temperatura máxima para que el 

calentador funcione continuamente a 1500 W. El ícono 

Permanecer encendido aparecerá en el visor LCD.

Presione el botón 

Eco-Smart™ para activar el modo de 

energía eficiente 

Eco-Smart™. Ahora el calentador 

alternará entre configuraciones de temperatura alta (1500 W.) 

y baja (de 750W) para calefaccionar. El ícono 

encendido aparecerá en el visor LCD. 

Su calentador se encuentra equipado con un termostato 

digital que le permite configurar el calentador en un nivel de 

confort preciso moviendo la Rueda indicadora o presionando 

los botones con flechas del control remoto:
Girar la Rueda indicadora para activarlo. El 

ícono Termostato  

( ) aparecerá en el visor LCD.
Para configurar previamente un nivel de confort, gire la Rueda
indicadora para ajustar la temperatura entre 85°F y 65°F 

(predeterminada: “

85”). El visor LCD mostrará la lectura de la 

temperatura seleccionada. Cuando llegue a la temperatura 

preseleccionada, el calentador se apagará y se enfriará durante 

15 segundos. Cuando la temperatura ambiente esté por debajo 

de la temperatura preestablecida, el calentador se encenderá 

nuevamente de manera automática a fin de mantener el nivel 

de temperatura preestablecido.
