Note 1:

Worm gear incorporates a lubrication passage.

Note 2:

Yoke adapter 292756N is needed to complete the changeover.

Note 3:

Yoke Kit 107158 is needed  to complete the changeover.

Note 4:

1/2-20 Push Rod

Note 5:

5/8-18 Push Rod

Note 6:

Adapter 291452N is needed  to complete the changeover.

Note 7:

Use with Extended Adapter 297700N for 5/8" -18 UNF or 297701N for 1/2" -20 UNF for

extended clevis applications where existing chamber will be used and the push-rod has been

previously cut to a shorter length for use with a long clevis.

Note 8:

Yoke Kit 107160 is needed  to complete the changeover.

Note 9:

See rod thread adapter and yoke listing on page 16 to match for specific applications.

Note 10:

The X in the part number denotes any number from 1 to 9.

1. Find the competitive brand name shown in bold type in the “Changeover to Bendix” table.
2. Find the competitive part number listed in the table and the corresponding Bendix service part number with the application

notes (if any).

3. Verify the proper spline, arm length, rod adapter and clevis of the ASA-5

™

 slack adjuster selected is correct for your

application by reviewing the specifications on pages 14 and 15.

Note:  If the desired competitive part number is not listed in the “Changeover to Bendix” table go to pages 14 and 15 to
visually identify the correct Bendix replacement part.
