 SAS and SATA both provide max transfer rates up to 3Gb/s.

 Drives can overheat, so cooling has always been a key element in DataPort design. New 

DataPort SAS/SATA Enclosures feature a low-noise cooling fan assigned to every removable drive, 
while a large exhaust fan in the rear improves enclosure ventilation.

 All four drives connect to the host via a single 1 meter, InfiniBand Multilane 

4x SAS/SATA shielded bundled cable with thumbscrew interlocks. CRU sells external host cables 
separately because host connections vary. Cable connector options include Mini SAS or InfiniBand on 
the host end. SAS Dual-Port functionality requires (2) external 4x Multilane cables (one for each host). 
If your host does not already have an available connector, CRU offers Host Adapter kits which include 
a 4x SATA to SFF-8470 (InfiniBand) PCI Host Adapter bracket and (4) internal SATA Data cables. Please
