Specify the settings for printing and scanning using Web Service.

Specify shared Web Service settings for printing and scanning. Settings can 
be specified for the following.

Touch [5 Network Setting] in the Administrator Settings screen.

For details on displaying the Administrator Settings screen, refer to 
“Displaying the Administrator Settings screen” on page 3-7.

Touch [Fwd.

→] in the Network Settings screen, and then touch [4 Web 

Service Settings].

Touch [1 Web Service Common Settings].

Specify the desired settings.

To specify a friendly name, touch [Friendly Name], and then type in 
the name from the control panel.

Touch [Close].

Friendly Name

Specify the friendly name (63 characters or less) recognized by the 
computer.

SSL Setting

Select whether or not SSL is used with Web Service.
