3.6 +CGSN–Command for Querying the ESN 

3.6.1 Syntax 

+CGSN 

<CR><LF><ESN><CR><LF>

3.6.2 Interface Description 

This command queries the ESN of the MT. 

 

If the removable user identify module (R-UIM) card is inserted, and the personal identification 
number (PIN) of the R-UIM card is successfully unlocked, the ESN of the R-UIM card is 
returned. 

 

3.6.3 Parameter Description 

<ESN>: Indicates the ESN. It is a string without double quotation marks, consisting of 
eight hex digits.
