While logged-in to TSC, you can access all of the 
Windows 2000 functionality, including the Windows 
2000 Help files.
Logs
A log file is a file that stores messages (event logs) 
generated by an application, service, or operating 
system. These messages are used to track the 
operations performed. Log files are usually plain text 
(ASCII) files and often have a .log extension.
You can use the Logs feature to view and clear several 
types of event logs provided by the system:

Application Log
The application log contains events logged by 
applications or programs. For example, a database 
program might record a file error in the application 
log. The program developer decides which events to 
record.
To manage Application Logs 
1. On the primary menu bar, select 
Maintenance
