Replacing the Projection Lamp
The
projecton
lamp
should
be
replaced
when
t
burns
out
.
It
should
only
be
replaced
wth
a
certified
replacement
part
,
whch
you
can
order
from
your
local
dealer
.
Important
:
The
lamp
contains
a
certain
amount
of
mercury
and
should
be
disposed
of
according
to
local
ordinance
regulations
.
Avoid
touching
the
glass
surface
of
the
new
lamp
:
Doing
so
may
shorten
its
operation
life
.
Warning
:
Be
sure
to
turn
off
and
unplug
the
projector
at
least
an
hour
before
replacing
the
lamp
.
Failure
to
do
so
could
result
in
severe
burn
.
It
is
recommended
that
you
do
not
attempt
to
replace
the
lamp
while
the
projector
is
installed
on
a
ceiling
.
If
you
do
attempt
this
,
wear
protective
goggles
to
prevent
glass
from
a
ruptured
lamp
getting
into
your
eyes
.

Lift the screw covers [A].
Remove the screws on the lamp com-
partment cover [B].
Remove the screws on the lamp com-
partment cover [B].
2.
Lift the lamp compartment cover [C]
