Full NAT Based Configuration

Figure 14.9 illustrates a Full NAT based SLB configuration.

Figure 14.9 illustrates a sample configuration where two clients are connected to a
P333R-LB which balances the traffic between three Real Servers. In addition to the
traffic path through the P333R-LB, a direct path exists between the Clients and the
Real Servers through another router. The P333R-LB is configured with a VIP of
193.170.4.20 and with a PIP bank on subnet 10.3.3.x.
In order to configure the load balancer according to Figure 14.9, perform the
following commands:
P333R-LB which balances the traffic between three Real Servers. In addition to the
traffic path through the P333R-LB, a direct path exists between the Clients and the
Real Servers through another router. The P333R-LB is configured with a VIP of
193.170.4.20 and with a PIP bank on subnet 10.3.3.x.
In order to configure the load balancer according to Figure 14.9, perform the
following commands:
P333R-LB-1(super)#interface router

P333R-LB-1(super-if:router)#ip address 193.170.3.1
255.255.255.0

P333R-LB-1(super)#interface client
