Repeat this process until all chapters/tracks are added in the desired order.

To change a selection, press CLEAR.

When finished adding Chapters/Tracks, press PLAY/PAUSE

To cancel Programmed Play, open the disc drawer.

Index Marks are like bookmarks on your VHS tapes that help you easily find the start of any recording. Index Marks are inserted 

automatically during standard recording, one-touch recording, timer recording, or copying. You can also place Index Marks manu-

ally anywhere on a tape by pressing the SEARCH/INDEX button while a recording is in progress. Later you can search or scan for 

these bookmarks in the Search Menu. 

To search or scan for specific recordings:

Insert a VHS tape with recorded material in the VCR deck. 

While the tape is stopped or playing, press SEARCH/INDEX.

 to begin scanning forward or 

backward. When an Index Mark is found, the tape will play for 5 seconds. 

If it is the scene you want, press PLAY/PAUSE

DVD+VCR will automatically search for the next Index Mark.

Enter an Index number from 1 to 99 (e.g., for 5 press 0-5), then press FF
