Handling incoming instant messages
When your i2004 Internet Telephone beeps to alert you of a new instant message
(IM), you can

Use the navigation buttons to scroll through the IM text.

Use the Detail softkey to view details about the IM
— Press Call to call the sender of the IM.
— Press the Reply softkey to reply to an IM. Enter the desired message
using the alphanumeric input mode, and select the Send softkey, or

Use the Prev and Next softkeys if you have more than one IM to view.

Press the Cancel softkey to clear all IM messages.

You can forward your calls to other locations with your i2004 Internet Telephone

To forward your calls to another location

Press the Servcs softkey.

Highlight the Call Forward option and press the Select softkey. (See Note
below if there is more than one user logged in.)

Tip:
If you are logged into multiple i2004 Internet Telephones, every
line associated with you will have call forwarding enabled.
