In Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, select Phone > Device.

Locate the phone you want to modify.

Locate the Bluetooth field and set the field to Enabled.

Locate the Allow Bluetooth Mobile Handsfree Mode field, and set the field to Enabled.

Save the changes and apply them to the phone.

The Join Across Lines (JAL) feature allows a user to join calls on multiple phone lines (either on different
directory numbers or on the same directory number but on different partitions) to create a conference. The
Transfer Across Lines (TAL) feature allows a user to transfer one established call to another established call
(either on different phone lines or on the same line). You can disable the JAL and TAL features to avoid users
joining or transferring calls by mistake.

In Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, select one of the following windows:

• Device > Phone

• Device > Device Settings > Common Phone Profile

• System > Enterprise Phone

If you configure the parameter in multiple windows, the precedence order is:

Device > Phone

Device > Device Settings > Common Phone Profile

System > Enterprise Phone

If required, locate the phone.

Locate the Join and Direct Transfer Policy field and select one of the following settings:

• Same line, across line enable (default)

• Same line enable

• Same line, across line disable

Select Save.
