Transferring a Call to the Answering System
When you answer a call and the caller wants to talk to someone who is not
available, you can transfer the caller to the Answering System, where the caller can
leave a message.

• Even if you subscribe to Caller ID service (p. 33), Caller ID information will not be
displayed while the caller is recording a message or the message is being played.
