*1 This unit is not compatible with the following:

– PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet)
– PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol)
– L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol)
If your Internet service provider uses a PPPoE, PPTP, or L2TP connection, a 
compatible router is required.

*2 This unit is designed to obtain an IP address automatically from a DHCP (Dynamic 

Host Configuration Protocol) server. We recommend using the DHCP server 
(page 28).

*1 The handset cover comes attached to the handset.
