Ultrahigh Brightness and
Contrast
Panasonic’s advanced BriteOptic™
Dual Lamp System delivers both
3,600 ANSI lumens of brightness
and superior colour reproducibility.
A corrective film is used to
compensate for phase shifts in the
light incident to the LCD panel,
helping obtain a high contrast ratio.
The result is reproduction of crisp,
clear, super-bright images with
outstanding depth.
High Resolution & Intelligent
Image Resizing
The PT-L6600E/L6600EL offers true
SXGA resolution (UXGA max.) and
the PT-L6500E/L6500EL gives true
XGA resolution (UXGA max.),
allowing display of detailed computer
graphics and text. When displaying
images of other types, the signals
are expanded or compressed
through a digital processing system.
This assures smooth outlines and
outstanding picture definition with all
types of images.
Flexible Connection
The PT-L6600E/EL and PT-L6500E/
EL are equipped with a digital video
interface (DVI), which lets you
connect with PCs for full digital
image processing. You can also
input signals from digital TV and
DVD sources.
Installation Options
Two ceiling mount brackets are
available, one for high ceilings and
one for lower ceilings. A bracket and
a simpler stacking mount are also
available, for quick, easy, temporary
stacking of two units.
Easy Setup and Maintenance
The PT-L6600E/EL and PT-L6500E/
EL feature a symmetrical design that
places the lens right at the centre,
making it easier to position the
projector and screen. Maintenance is
easier too, thanks to a design that
lets you replace a lamp without
removing the projector from the
bracket in either the ceiling-mounted
or dual stacking configuration.
A Host of Uses
The PT-L6600E/EL and PT-L6500E/
EL provide the quality and perform-
ance needed in almost any applica-
tion. Use them in meeting rooms,
theaters, museums, convention halls,
public spaces, schools, research
labs—anyplace where bright,
beautiful images are a plus. Also, the
superb resolution made possible by
digital RGB input delivers images
with exceptional detail and accuracy.
This makes these projectors suitable
for use as main systems for
monitoring traffic or electric power,
or in operation centres such as
police, fire, air traffic control, and
space development centres.
One-Touch Auto Setup
This function automatically identifies
the signal mode of the input source
and adjusts the image accordingly.
You get optimal viewing quality, with
no additional software, equipment or
manual adjustment necessary.
Lens Shift
Shift the projected image vertically
even after the projector is set in
position. The PT-L6600E/L6500E
has a great adjustment range, and
the image remains distortion free.
Increased Reliability
These projectors have a long lamp
life of 3,000 hours (at dual lamp
operation in standard mode). With
BriteOptic™ Dual Lamp System,
even if one lamp burns out, the
remaining lamp provides sufficient
brightness. This offers you the peace
of mind that comes with the reliability
of virtual-zero downtime.
