WARNING
DO NOT install or use this equipment without first reading and understanding these instructions. If you are 
unable to understand the Warnings, Cautions or Instructions, contact a healthcare professional, dealer or 
technical personnel before attempting to use this equipment - otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
All four casters MUST be in contact with the floor at all times. 
ALWAYS inspect the mobile shower commode chair to ensure that it is properly positioned and stable 
before using. DO NOT use if wobbly or unstable. 
Users with limited physical capabilities should be supervised or assisted when using the mobile shower 
commode chair. 
The mobile shower commode chair is not to be used as a transfer bench, transfer device or climbing device.
Exercise caution when assembling to avoid pinching.
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure that all attaching component parts 
are secure.
The mobile shower commode chair has a weight limitation of 250 lbs (114 kg).
ALWAYS observe the weight limit on the labeling of your product. Check that all labels are present and 
legible. Replace if necessary.
 
ACCESSORIES WARNING
Invacare products are specifically designed and manufactured for use in conjunction with Invacare 
accessories. Accessories designed by other manufacturers have not been tested by Invacare and are not 
recommended for use with Invacare products.
Assembling the Mobile Shower Commode Chair
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 1.
NOTE: To disassemble the mobile shower commode chair, 
reverse this procedure.
1.
Press down on the tab on the caster with your foot 
until the lock is engaged. Repeat until all four casters 
are locked.
2.
Align the holes in the back support with the holes on 
the frame. Attach the back support to the frame with 
four screws and nuts.
3.
Tighten all hardware.
4.
Put the pail and lid in place on the pail holders.
NOTE: To allow the seat to easily pivot, apply a small amount 
of Vaseline® or furniture polish to the seat clamps before 
snapping them into place on the back frame rail.
5.
Put the seat onto the back frame rail.
NOTE: When installed properly, each seat clamp is positioned 
outside the pail holders (DETAIL “A”).
6.
Push down on the seat until it snaps firmly into place 
onto the back frame rail.
Cleaning the Mobile Shower 
Commode Chair
Use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap to clean the shower 
chair.
