ISO SENSITIVITY
The ISO setting specifies the possible shutter speed and aperture
combinations at a particular brightness. Higher sensitivities allow
faster shutter speeds and/or smaller apertures (for "freezing" rapid
movements or to increase the depth of field), although this can also
result in greater noise.
Press the
ISO
button (16) and select the desired setting in the (2
page) list (i.e.
AUTO ISO
for the automatic setting or one of the eight
fixed settings)
Within the
AUTO ISO
option, it is possible to limit the sensitivity range
to be used (e.g. to control noise), and the slowest shutter speed to be
used can also be specified (e.g. to prevent blurred pictures of moving
subjects):
1.
Select
Auto ISO Settings
 in the menu
2.
Select
Slowest Speed
 or
Max ISO
 in the first submenu
3.
Select the desired values in the respective second level
submenus
