When not creating any folders, there is 
only the “101MSDCF” folder

B Folder containing movie data that were 

recorded using your camera
When not creating any folder, there is only 
the “101MNV01” folder

C Folder containing MP3 file data that were 

imported to your camera

D This folder may not appear on the screen, 

depending on your Windows setting.
The DATA folder contains data, such as 
information used for album display or 
image search. If you erase or edit these 
data, album display and search functions 
do not work properly. Never erase or edit 
data contained in the DATA folder.

• You cannot record/play back any images to the 

“MISC” folder.

• Image files are named as follows. 

ssss

stands for any number within the range from 
0001 to 9999.

– Still image files: DSC0

ssss.JPG

– Movie files: MOV0

ssss.MPG
