Der EX-6300SM RS-232 auf Lichtwellen-Leiter Konverter (LWL) ist entworfen 
worden, um RS-232-Signale über Glasfaser zu verlängern. Es bietet eine vielseiti-
gen Verbindung zwischen asynchronen RS-232-Geräten mit dem LWL-Kabel. Die 
Vorteile bei LWL ist das die Daten Signale mit optischer Faser vom Massepotential 
isoliert und bietet einen EMI / RFI Schutz. 
Der EX-6300SM ermöglicht Ihnen eine Datenübertragung bis 921.6Kbps. Er unter-
stützt verschiedene Standards, das sie ohne Probleme andere Konverter ersetzen 
können die keinen EMI / RFI Schutz haben. Die LWL-Verbindung werden über zwei 
SC-Anschlüsse (Buchse) angeschlossen. Die RS-232-Verbindungen verwendet 
einen DB9-Stecker. In der Regel ist ein externes 12V DC Netzteil erforderlich. Wird 
aber über den Pin 9 des RS-232-Anschluss 12V versorgt benötigt der EX-6300SM 
kein externes Netzteil. 
Die EX-6300SM ist einfach zu installieren. Lichtwellenleiter können beliebig mit 
anderen Versorgungsleitungen parallel verlegt werden. Es gibt keine elektromag-
netische Störeinflüsse. Entfernungsbedingte Verluste des Signals wegen Induktivi-
täten, Kapazitäten und Widerständen treten nicht auf. Nahezu Frequenz-
unabhängige Leitungsdämpfung der Signale.

EX-6300MM 
The EX-6300SM RS-232 to Fiber Optic Converter is designed to extend RS232 
signals over optical fiber. It provides the most versatile connection possible be-
tween any asynchronous RS-232 equipments using fiber optic cable. The optical 
fiber isolates the data signals from ground potential, ground loops and provides 
EMI/RFI protection. 
The EX-6300SM is capable of handling data rates up to 921.6Kbps. The product 
supports mixed standards, allowing you to replace other converters and isolators 
and add the EMI / RFI Protection inherent to fiber optic communications. The fiber 
optic connections are via two female SC connectors. RS232 connections use a 
DB9 male connector. Typically, an external 12V DC power supply is required. In 
case of the pin 9 of the RS232 connector supplies 12V, the unit will work without 
any external AC adapter.  
The EX-6300SM is easy to install. It eliminates the harmful effects of RF radiation 
and susceptibility to electromagnetic radiation. It is ideal for most of the applica-
tions requiring very secure serial port environments.
