An international standard of color repre-
sentation (color space) which is applied to
general digital cameras, displays and oth-
ers. In this projector, if you select [sRGB]
in the [Image mode] setting, the projector
can project the best-quality image con-
forming to the sRGB Standard.
A digital video signal connection interface
for a computer. This interface allows digi-
tal data to be transmitted without convert-
ing to analog data, assuring high image
quality with no signal degradation.
The DVI-I (integrated) connector can be
used to transmit both an analog video sig-
nal and digital video signal.
A signal system used to send digital infor-
mation of individual display dots. This sys-
tem is free from deterioration of image
quality because of no analog conversion.
Connect the DVI output terminal on the
computer and ANALOG PC-1/DVI-I IN ter-
minal on this projector with an optional DVI
digital cable (LV-CA29). Select [DIGITAL
PC] at projection.
A signal system used to send analog sig-
nal information of R (red), G (green), and
B (blue). Connect the analog RGB output
terminal on your computer to ANALOG
PC-1/DVI-I IN terminal or ANALOG PC-2/
COMPONENT IN terminal on the projector
(in SX800, ANALOG PC-1 IN terminal or
ANALOG PC-2/COMPONENT IN termi-
nal), and select [ANALOG PC-1] or [ANA-
LOG PC-2] at the time of projection.
An abbreviation for High-Definition Multi-
media Interface, which is a digital video
signal connection interface for AV equip-
ment. It can transmit non-compressed
images and audio signals simultaneously.
It supports digital contents copy-pro-
tected with the HDCP technology. The pro-
jector supports HDMI 1.3 standard (10-bit
deep color).
An abbreviation of High-bandwidth Digital
Content Protection which is an encryption
technology for copy protection of digital
image signals. In this projector, you can
project digital contents copy-protected
with the HDCP technology.
An output terminal widely used in an AV
equipment. It is also called as a composite
output terminal (pin terminal or RCA termi-
nal). For more details, refer to "Composite".
A video signal system used to send a
brightness signal (Y) and a color signal
(C) together. Connect the composite out-
put (RCA) terminal on the AV equipment
and the VIDEO IN terminal on this projec-
tor with a video cable. Select [VIDEO] at
projection.
A signal system (YC separation signal)
used to send a brightness signal (Y) and
color signal (C) separately. Connect the S-
video terminal on the AV equipment and
the S-VIDEO IN terminal on this projector
with an S-video cable. Select [S-VIDEO] at
projection.
