erase

forgotten
 
password:
 
1.
   
Open
 
the
 
computer
 
cover.
 
2.
   
Locate
 
the
 
Clear
 
CMOS/Recovery
 
jumper
 
on
 
the
 
system
 
board.

Move
 
the
 
jumper
 
from
 
the
 
standard
 
position
 
(pins

and
 
2)
 
to
 
the
 
maintenance
 
or
 
configure
 
position

Lower

drive
 
bay
 
assembly
 
and
 
reconnect
 
any
 
cables

disconnected.
 
5.
   
Close
 
the
 
computer
 
cover

connect

power
 
cord.

Restart

need

the
 
updated

the
 
Setup
 
Utility
 
program.
 
To
 
close
 
the
 
computer
 
cover
 
and
 
connect
 
cables
 
to
 
your
 
computer:
 
1.
   
Ensure
 
that
 
all
 
components
 
have
 
been
 
reassembled
 
correctly
 
and
 
that
 
no
 
tools
 
or
 
loose
 
screws
 
are
 
left
 
inside
 
your
 
computer.
 
2.
   
Make
 
sure
 
that
 
the
 
cables
 
are
 
routed
 
correctly
 
before
 
lowering
 
the
 
drive
 
bay
 
assembly.
 
3.
   
Lower
 
the
 
drive
 
bay
 
assembly.
 
4.
   
Close
 
the
 
computer
 
cover.
 
5.
   
Install
 
any
 
locking
 
devices
 
such
 
as
 
an
 
integrated
 
cable
 
lock
 
as
