This
section
provides
instructions
on
how
to
replace
the
system
board.
CAUTION:
The
heat
sink
and
microprocessor
might
be
very
hot.
Turn
off
the
computer
and
wait
three
to
five
minutes
to
let
the
computer
cool
before
opening
the
computer
cover.
To
replace
the
system
board:
1.
Open
the
computer
cover.

Take
notes
of
the
location
of
all
the
cable
connectors
on
the
system
board
and
then
disconnect
all
the
cables.
3.
Press
the
two
side
tabs
inward
and
then
pivot
the
system
board
as
shown
to
release
the
system
board
from
the
chassis.
4.
Place
the
system
board
on
a
clean
and
flat
surface.
5.
Remove
the
heat
sink
from
the
system
board.
