System configuration is performed through the keyboard and menus to include
these Advanced selector switch functions:

v

Scanning the servers

v

Displaying server BIOS versions and settings

v

Saving the Hardware Configuration

v

Resetting the mouse and keyboard

v

Setting a scan pattern

v

Assigning unique names to the servers

v

Listing servers by name or port number (Changing Menu Attributes)

v

Changing the position and color of the operation menus and windows (Changing
Flag Attributes)

v

Assigning a specific monitor type to a certain port (server)

To place the selector switch in scan mode:

v

Press the Print Screen key

v

Press the F2 key to display the Advanced Menu screen.

Using the Up Arrow (↑) and Down Arrow (↓) keys, move the highlighting to
Scan and press Enter. The selector switch enters the scan mode and the display
returns to the status flag. To cancel the operation, press Esc any time before you
press Enter.

To cancel the scan mode, press any key or move the mouse. The scan stops at
the currently connected server.

The selector switch BIOS version number along with keyboard and mouse
information can be displayed for the currently selected server.

Press the Print Screen key.

v

Press the F2 key to display the Advanced Menu screen.

v

Using the Up Arrow (↑) and Down Arrow (↓) keys, move the highlighting to
Version and press Enter.
