1. Start Cisco Fabric Manager. The Fabric Manager dialog box displays.

2. From the Fabric Manager dialog box left panel, do the following:

a. Select the VSAN/Zone tab. 

b. Expand the VSAN to which you plan to connect the E-port. 

c. Verify that the Zone Set names and Zone names conform to the standards discussed under 

 and are unique between the switches.

Use the following CLI commands when the Cisco Fabric Manager is not available.

login: admin

Password: ********

Cisco_9216# show zoneset vsan <vsan id>

Use the above command to verify that all Zone and Zone Set names in the VSAN conform 
to FC standards.
