5 Email 

5.1 Opening Email 

Touch Email on the Home screen or on the Applications screen to open Email. 

5.2 Adding and deleting email accounts 

5.2.1 To add an email account 

The first time you open Email, you are prompted to set up an email account. Or if you have 
created an email account, you can touch Add account to create another email account. To 
add your email account, in the Set up Email screen: 

1. 

Touch New account. 

2. 

Select an account type (Gmail or Other).

If you already have a Gmail account, touch Gmail and enter your email address 
and password. Then touch Sign in.

If you want to add another type of email account, touch Other and enter an email 
account and password. Select the mailbox type and enter other email account 
details. For details about your email account, contact your email service provider.

Touch the Back key to select your email service type and enter other email account 
details. You can contact your email service provider for the values required for your 
account. 

4. 

Touch Done, and then touch Sign in Email starts downloading your email messages 
and you can send and receive email messages with this new account. 

5.2.2 To delete an email account 

1. 

Open the Email screen. 

2. 

Touch and hold the account to delete.
