The message 

STKR: DETACH AND CLEAR STAPLE JAM

 or 

CHECK STAPLER DEVICE

 

alternating with 

CLEAR JAMMED STAPLE

 displays on the Control Panel.

Move the Stapler/Stacker away from the 
printer.

To clear the paper jam from the Stacker Bin, 
pull the paper out of the rollers.

Open the Stapler door on the rear of the 
Stapler/Stacker.
