Level the instrument properly with the
plate level.

While pressing the [F1] key, turn power switch ON.

Press the [F3] key.

Collimate target A (around 0° in horizontal within 
±3°) in normal telescope setting (FACE (1)).

The sample display shows that the measurement 
is made 5 times in FACE 1.

Turn the telescope in reverse telescope setting 
(FACE (2)).

Collimate target A.

Press the [F4](SET) key.
Repeat the procedures in step 

 and 

 so that the 

count of measured times matches to the one in

The title display will be shown automatically.

Collimate target B (more than ±10° from the level) 
in reverse telescope setting
