The Mini Coupler is used to join two pieced of track together
mechanically and electrically. Power cannot be feed into the Mini
Coupler.
Caution:
• Turn off power at fuse box before installing the invisible
coupler and track.
• Do not attempt to feed power to the invisible coupler.
INSTALLING CONNECTOR INTO TRACK SECTION
1. Remove Dead End Cover if necessary by pulling it out of Track
(save Dead End Cover). Fig 1.
2. Push Coupler into track until the arrows line up with the track
edge. Ensure that the contact blades are aligning with the copper
wires in the track during assembly. (Fig 2 & Fig 3)
3. Tighten the Locking Screw, (Fig 3)
4. Insert metal spline into the track approximately half the distance
of the metal spline length (Fig 5). Note orientation of spline in
channel.
5. Insert the assembled track and coupler into the mating track.
Ensure that the contact blades are aligning with the copper wires
in the track (Fig 2). Push together until there are no gaps between
the track unit sections. (Fig 4)
6. Check arrows on bottom of coupler. If arrows are not in line with
the edge of the track, realign the coupler until the arrows are in
line with the track edges.
7. Tighten locking screws. Note: if there is access from above the
track after it is mounted (ie. track stem installation) secure the
spline to the mating track using the (2) additional screws. Do not
use the additional two screws if there is no access. The track will
have to be removed from the structure to remove the invisible
coupler.
8. Snap the bottom cover into the track sections.
