Installing and Configuring the RTM-8000

Configuring the settings of the RTM-8000

You can configure the settings of the RTM-8000 in the 

 window during installation. If you need to change

these settings afterwards, click 

 on Windows Taskbar and select

, 

 to open the GPRS

Modem Configuration Tool window and make changes.

The section below describes each setting item in the window. For actual 

setting parameters, please consult your operator.

User Name and Password Required

If your operator requires you to enter your user name and password

before connecting, check this checkbox. Enter your user name in the

 field, password in the 

 field and password again in the

field.

PIN Code Required

If the PIN code of your SIM card is activated, check this checkbox. Enter

your PIN code in the 

 field and your PIN code again in the

 field.
