Typing Accents
You don’t need to type accents when you enter
English words such as

Understanding Dictionary Entries
Each dictionary entry contains a wealth of infor-
mation. The headword, or main word, is in bold-
face, followed by its phonetic spelling in slashes

nary entry, its entry number is in superscript.
