Quick Change Memory Cartridge (QCMC) - This cartridge option
provides an easy way to copy a printer’s firmware and configuration
settings from one printer to another. A “snapshot image” of the source
printer is stored onto the QCMC and a simple interface is provided to
copy that image to a target printer. Once the image has been copied to
the target printer, the two printers will be identically configured. The
QCMC has its own resident network MAC address that will be used in
place of the printer’s LAN/WLAN MAC address when the cartridge is left
installed in a printer (see “Quick Change Memory Cartridge (QCMC)” on
page 226).
